On the contrary, very practical. The 50 minutes doesn't include "reserve" power (fuel) and you can do a lot in that time.

For example 50 minutes at 100 knots is about 95 statute miles. Aeroplanes fly "as the crow flies" i.e. in a straight line, so that will easily take you to France... and back :)

Once upon a time, very recently, there were only a few electric cars in the country. That number has grown rapidly recently. Even the pandemic seems to have had no effect on slowing the increase.

Where did you get the idea that there are only three in the UK? The CAA only records "UK Registered" aircraft. There are aircraft register in many other countries based in the UK, many aircraft registered in the USA are based here for example.

High purchase price is misleading, just like when "buying" an electric car. Many of them are operated on leases.

50 minutes is pretty adequate for a lot of GA operations, btw.
